Detailed Itinerary

Tiger & Bird Photographic Safari

Day 01: Arrival in New Delhi (By Flight)

Upon arrival at New Delhi Airport, meet our representative for a warm welcome. Transfer to your luxurious hotel and receive a detailed briefing on your upcoming safari adventure. Overnight stay in New Delhi.
Accommodation: Roseate House Aerocity or similar.

Day 02: Sultanpur National Park and Okhla Bird Sanctuary (New Delhi)

After breakfast, drive to Sultanpur National Park, a haven for resident and migratory birds. Spot species like the Northern Pintail, Bar-Headed Goose, Painted Stork, and Eurasian Hoopoe. Post lunch, explore Okhla Bird Sanctuary, famous for hosting over 400 bird species annually. Overnight stay in New Delhi.
Accommodation: Roseate House Aerocity or similar.

Day 03: New Delhi – Corbett National Park (275 km / 5-hour Drive)

Depart early for Corbett National Park. At the park entrance, switch to safari vehicles for a scenic drive through the core area. Check into Dhikala Forest Rest House, uniquely located inside the park. Post lunch, embark on your first tiger safari. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04 – 05: In Corbett National Park

Enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris exploring Corbett’s rich biodiversity. Capture images of tigers, elephants, and over 600 bird species amidst stunning Himalayan backdrops. Dinner and overnight stays at the Forest Rest House.
Accommodation: Dhikala Forest Rest House.

Day 06: Corbett – Pangot (320 km / 6-hour Drive)

After a morning safari, drive to Pangot, a picturesque village known for its avian diversity. Check into your lodge and enjoy an evening of birdwatching, spotting species like Red-Billed Magpies and Grey-Headed Woodpeckers. Dinner and overnight stay.
Accommodation: Local Lodge in Pangot.

Day 07: Pangot – Nainital (60 km / 1-2-hour Drive)

Explore Pangot’s birding trails before driving to Nainital. Spend the day birdwatching in Sat Tal and nearby areas, spotting species like Blue-Throated Barbets, Chestnut-Bellied Rock Thrush, and Lineated Barbets. Overnight stay in Nainital.

Day 08: Nainital – Agra (345 km / 9-hour Drive)

After morning birdwatching, drive to Agra. Check into your hotel and relax overnight.
Accommodation: Taj View Agra.

Day 09: Agra – Dholpur (60 km / 1-2-hour Drive)

At sunrise, visit the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and symbol of eternal love. Post breakfast, drive to Dholpur and enjoy an afternoon boat safari on the Chambal River, home to gharials, marsh crocodiles, and exotic birds. Overnight stay in Dholpur.
Accommodation: Raj Niwas Palace Dholpur.

Day 10: Dholpur – Bharatpur (105 km / 2-3-hour Drive)

After breakfast, enjoy another boat ride on the Chambal River before driving to Bharatpur. Check into your lodge and spend the evening birdwatching in Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, known for its rich diversity of migratory and resident bird species. Overnight stay in Bharatpur.
Accommodation: Bagh Bharatpur or similar.

Day 11: Bharatpur – New Delhi (210 km / 4-hour Drive)

Spend the morning birdwatching in Bharatpur before driving back to New Delhi. Check into your hotel and relax overnight.
Accommodation: Roseate House Aerocity or similar.

Day 12: Departure from New Delhi

After breakfast, transfer to the international airport for your flight home or onward journey.
